In honour of Cyber Monday we would like to offer FREE SHIPPING today only.
Love free shipping.
Many of our items are ready to ship but some are not.
Our current turn around time for our made to order items is 10 days.
This offer is available in both our shops, Redpajamas and Redpajamas home
26 shopping days left – wow.
If there could be only one store I could shop in I could easily say it would be Anthropologie. I can go to their store and browse for a long enough time that the sales people are probably wondering about me. Here are a few things for the home that caught my eye and would make great gifts.
A milk maid butter dish would look so pretty on the counter. Equally adorable is this jam pot.
These Mix Well recipe cards would work be a perfect addition with any of these homemade treats from Smitten Kitchen’s Gift-Worthy selection. And my favorite? This Wise Ol’ Cookie Jar.
Any of these items would work well along with our Red Pajamas Home aprons and tea towels for the perfect gift. You can view the full selection from Red Pajamas Home here.

The second issue of Sweet Paul is a Fall edition full of my favorite things – great food and decorating ideas.
The Picnic in the Forest recipes make me want to dust off my wicker picnic basket and try the Chevré and Honey Open-Faced Sandwich. I’m always up for trying a new soup recipe so the hearty looking Butternut Squash and White Bean Stew is now on my list.
There are so many delicious looking recipes but this salted caramel chocolate cake is calling my name and singing happy birthday to me. (Yes, I believe in making my own birthday cake.)
If you are like me and finding it hard to admit that Christmas is around the corner, take some time to enjoy this Fall edition now. Then dive into the Holiday issue out on November 15th with promises of crafts, cookies and candy to get you in the holiday spirit.

I was in the grocery store yesterday and was surprised to see all the thanksgiving food displays and sales going on. I came home to tell my husband to which he replied, “Well, it is only 2 weeks away.”
oh.
So, yes, I guess it’s officially that time again. I don’t know about your little girl, but mine will definitely be requesting a special dress for the upcoming occasions. In fact she already has asked for a new winter dress. “Maybe you can buy me one, or maybe you can just make me one because that would easier.”
I’ve been looking at some fabric options and thought I’d share some of my favorites.
Grass is Greener – Japanese Fabric Wall flower in cherry – Amy Butler
Michael Miller, Peppermint Dumb Dot Check-a-dot , Early Bird by Cosmo Cricket
Studio eFabrics, Red Essentials Lila Tueller – Isabella – Damask – Green
Decorative Designer, zig zag Michael Miller Ring Dot
Monaluna Organic Monaco Starburst Orange
These are just a few of the (too) many options available to have a special dress made for your little girl. Our style options include the party dress, or the shift dress.
Holly at Decor8 has just shared some beautiful calendars for 2011. Last year for Christmas gifts I purchased this printable calendar on Etsy from Sweet Beets.
It was super easy to do (with my trusty paper cutter) and I added a hole punch at the top and a ribbon. It was the perfect gift for something small but not too small – I highly recommend it.
For more calendar ideas check out the four posts from Decor8 starting with this one.
Our newest item for the boys is finally here and ready to go in our shop!
This corduroy jacket is fully lined. The corduroy lining gives it a nice medium weight, perfect for the fall/winter.
I love that it can be used for special occasions, with a dress shirt and pants, and for everyday over a tee and jeans.
My favorite feature has to be the contrasting elbow patches.
I’m actually surprised I ended up with some decent shots of the boys. This is what a typical session is really like…
boys…
This jacket is available in grey or navy in size 2T-6Y
(just in time for the holidays)
I just recently started reading Emily Henderson’s blog. I’ve been loving her Flea Market Mondays of things she has found over the weekend. As Lynnette mentioned – there is nothing like the thrill of the hunt!
I found a few pieces recently and thought I’d share my mid-century modern finds. First it was this end table:
Nothing fancy here – wood veneer and probably not worth much but perfect for my son’s play room. Eventually it will be a side table for his big boy bed when the day comes.
Then recently at a community garage sale I was heading back to the car a bit disappointed when I spotted the legs of this beauty:
They only wanted $5 and it needs some tlc but it will be well worth it.
Then today I found this lovely side table at a thrift store:
I thought she looked pretty great and then took a peek underneath and saw the words ‘Made In Denmark’. Jackpot! Turns out it is a Danish made solid teak Vejle Stole table. It has fueled my determination to keep rummaging!

Recently I made a wonderful discovery: e-magazines. And specifically decorating magazines. While it is hard to replace a physical magazine like Blueprint or Domino (sniff, sniff), this at least gives me a little fix.
To celebrate the opening of our new red pajamas {home} shop we’ll be blogging more about ways to enjoy our homes. I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of my favorite e-magazines over the next few weeks. My first is Lonny. I just finished skimming through the Oct/Nov issue which is great. They have a section on gift giving which includes this one featuring Etsy shops:
There are also lots of great photos of interiors like these ones:
There is something so intriguing about seeing how other people decorate and live, don’t you think?
We’re pretty excited about the latest item in the works and wanted to give you a quick preview.
We’ll have it available in our shop soon. Check back for details.
