I love this print, especially for the fall season. Couldn’t decided whether to make it into a dress, or top, but I love the way it looks with denim, so I went for a tunic style top.

Can you believe it’s back to school time? I know.
Isabella began Kindergarten (in August!) and was so excited. (Christmas morning- excited). I was not quite as thrilled, but I survived the first day, and now I’m loving it too.
Many schools in Phoenix require a strict dress code. Navy, white or red collard tops, with khaki or navy bottoms. There are many great options in the stores, but I wanted to make her school clothes myself. (well, some)
Here’s what I came up with.
Wasn’t sure how they’d feel about the extra little flower I attached, but I just couldn’t resist. I figured, it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission right?
She’s received so many compliments from teachers, and even the principal, so I I guess it’s allowed.
made her a little jacket to go with it for the cooler weather.
She loves her khaki skirt so much, I made another in navy.
The flower is made from a man button down shirt.
Though I wasn’t planning on it, we decided to add these skirts to our shop. Available in size 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months, 18 -24 months, 2T 3T 4T 5T 6T
This classic dress is given a punch of colour for the fall days ahead.
We found a soft grey fabric that we love and made it into this classic a-line style.
It needed a little something, so we added a flower accessory. We used our vintage orange- dot fabric we found from Dubai.
love this colour combo.

That’s right, two skirts in one!

I found this hand screened print from greenolivetextiles out of Australia and I had to get it.
I love the fact that it’s based on an original drawing she did when she was almost 5 years old.
I altered the retro coveralls pattern to make a jumper for the girls, then added this fabric to the pocket .
I love clothes that my growing kids can wear year round. In the summer, wear this jumper on its own or with a t-shirt and in the winter, with long sleeves and tights. Extra buttons are added to the straps making them adjustable and long lasting as she grows!
My first bike jumper is now available in our shop. We offer it in size 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T.
We recently received a bag of clothes as a donation for up-cycling. In it, was a black and white dress, in perfect condition, just begging for a change. I wish I took a picture of the dress to give the before and after effect, but got cutting without thinking about it. In any case, here is the new, reincarnated baby summer dress!
The straps are adjustable and tie at the front. The best part is that it will grow with her. This year, a dress, next year, a top!
I have enough fabric for 3 , maybe 4 dresses. We offer it in size 3-6 months, 6-12, 12-18 and 2T. Bloomers (black with white polka dots) are sold separately.
I came across an old pattern from 1976 and was inspired to make these sweet coveralls. ![]()
I also found a piece of hand screened owl fabric that I just love. I thought it would create a cute detail on the side pocket.
Here it is, finally, something for our boys!
Available in our shop, in size 12 – 18 months, 18-24 months and 2T
As you can see, there is also a pattern for a shirt. I’m really into that big vintage collar, it just makes me laugh. This might have to be my next project. After all, why should the girls get all the cute clothes?
We have a new spring tea towel listed on our Etsy shop. The tea towel matches our spring apron but with a twist on the trim – yellow free hand stitching weaving in and out of each other stands out on the dark grey trim.
I just finished up a custom order. It’s going to be given as a shower gift.
A wee baby dress and bloomers personalized with an M for Madeline.
Isn’t this a great idea? It wasn’t mine, but I’m loving it and now want to offer it in our shop. I recently purchased this fresh new print that to me, screams “spring”! There is nothing like a tiny dress on a tiny girl. uh-oh, this isn’t baby fever is it? nah.
