Recently, we were approached by Boston based photographer, Rebecca Deaton. She wanted to use some of our items for a photoshoot. After looking at her work, (amazing!) I knew we need to to take her up on this excellent opportunity.

Sweet Kallan, wore our new bird dress beautifully and Rebecca captured some incredible shots.

I think it’s picnic time…

I recently discovered Sahuaro Ranch Park in Glendale.  I’m sure you local Phoenix readers already are well aware of this gorgeous place, but I was not…

It’s one of the valley’s oldest ranches featuring original buildings, a rose garden, barnyard and orchards.  My kids especially love the roosters, turkeys and even a peacock all freely roaming the property.

and of course, they loved the old trackers…

and rose garden that is now in full bloom!

Isabella was wearing our new spring linen top, so I took some photos for the shop listing.

I found this fabric a few months ago and took all that was available because I love it.  It’s 100% linen and that turquoise/ brown colour combo is one of my favorites.

This breezy top will keep her cool for the upcoming warm (hot) days ahead. We have it available now in our shop, but there are only 2 left…

Looking forward to another trip to Suharo ranch soon.

This time, taking a picnic!

Today marks the official first day of Spring!  To mark it,  I thought it would be great to offer a new dress for the new season.

With Easter around the corner,  I knew I could not get away with not making a new dress for Isabella, so I chose this white cotton fabric with embroidery through out.  I love the simplicity of this dress with the added texture of the embroidered flowers.

There is something so sweet about a little girl in a white dress…

We are offering this dress in size 12-18 months through to size 6Y.  This fabric is very limited, only a few can be made…

I’ve been wanting to offer another upcycled shirt dress for a while now.

This past weekend I found some time…

From a man’s button down shirt, to a simple modern dress for your little girl.  I kept the buttons running down the front, and pulled in the waist for some shape.  Simply pull it over her head for easy dressing.

Isabella was especially thrilled when I added this sweet Russian doll applique, her favorite detail!

Our newest item for the boys is finally here and ready to go in our shop!

This corduroy jacket is fully lined. The corduroy lining gives it a nice medium  weight, perfect for the fall/winter.

I love that it can be used for special occasions, with a dress shirt and pants, and for everyday over a tee and jeans.

My favorite feature has to be the contrasting elbow patches.

I’m actually surprised I ended up with some decent shots of the boys. This is what a typical session is really like…

We have recently opened up a new Etsy page which features our red pajamas home items. We hope that by featuring these items in their very own shop that you’ll easily see the fun, new home items we have.

Right now you can find our mod tea towel set along with a green and blue damask set. These pretty tea towels would make a perfect wedding shower gift or Christmas gift. Or just keep them for yourself as they are sure to earn you a compliment on your savvy sense of style.

We’ve recently added a new retro inspired jumper to our collection.  When I purchased the car fabric for our new coveralls, I also wanted to get something for our girls. This adorable fabric is from Japanese designer Etsuko Furuya.

Isabella had lots of fun modeling. She is very excited for her new jumper.

Of course little brother also wanted to model, but he just doesn’t get the concept…

We have also added retro coveralls for her to the shop. They are the same coveralls as the boys, but with the more feminine scooter pocket.
