I tried to finish this dress in time for our photo shoot with Wild Fern photography. I came so close, but just ran out of time.

We did however come up with this edgy vest that will sure to get him jumping!

I love this print, especially for the fall season.  Couldn’t decided whether to make it into a dress, or top, but I love the way it looks with denim, so I went for a tunic style top.

no buttons or zippers so she can easily dress herself.

Can you believe it’s back to school time? I know.

Isabella began Kindergarten (in August!) and was so excited. (Christmas morning- excited).  I was not quite as thrilled, but I survived the first day, and now I’m loving it too.

Many schools in Phoenix require a strict dress code.  Navy, white or red collard tops, with khaki or navy bottoms. There are many great options in the stores, but I wanted to make her school clothes myself. (well, some)

Here’s what I came up with.

Wasn’t sure how they’d feel about the extra little flower I attached, but I just couldn’t resist. I figured, it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission right?

She’s received so many compliments from teachers, and even the principal, so I I guess it’s allowed.

made her a little jacket to go with it for the cooler weather.

She loves her khaki skirt so much, I made another in navy.

The flower is made from a man button down shirt.

This classic dress  is given a punch of colour for the fall days ahead.

We found a soft grey fabric that we love and made it into this classic a-line style.

It needed a little something, so we added a flower accessory. We used our vintage orange- dot fabric we found from Dubai.
